The Energy Dream Team is expected to promote energy technologies and the advancements of the institute.
The Korea Institute of Energy Research (Director Ju Ho Hwang) had the launching ceremony for the ‘1st KIER Energy Dream Team’ on the 28th of February.
On this day, Director Ju Ho Hwang presented the 10 students selected by the KIER as Energium News Reporters, 28 students selected as University Representatives (6 teams), and 11 students selected as PR Committee members with a letter of commissioning.
The ‘’Energium News Reporters’ and ‘University Representatives’ will be working from this month onwards to promote the energium.kier.re.kr website. They will work for the KIER until the end of this year, and the winning team will be presented with an award and cash prize.
The 11 PR Committee members, who consist of experts will aid with the promoting activities. Furthermore, the Energy Dream Team will participate in numerous volunteer activities to serve the disabled, and promote the use of eco-friendly energy. There will also be a summer camp so that the team can find free and open-ended ways to promote the KIER.
Director Ju Ho Hwang stated that ‘the gathering of the 1st Energy Dream Team consisting of university students with expertise in energy technology, will be a way for the KIER to find creative methods of promoting the company. We will be able to promote our energy technology, and spread the science culture.”
