Waste Incineration, Biomass CEO: Hak-Sang, Yoon Tel: 82 32 816 2990 Email: esco03@korea.com We have built about 1600 incinerators around the country including 600 medium-size incinerators to provide reliable incineration and a safe solution to waste management. We have contributed technology advances up to developed countries’ level by localizing the incineration technology that mainly relied on imports and developing 25 kinds of incinerators through gradual research of e-Cluster (Joint research of Industry, Academy and Institutions) achieving New Environment Technology Award (No. 2) from the Ministry of Environment. Furthermore, we have improved domestic technology even more by participating in the global project on next-generation incineration technology development of a thermal decomposition melting furnace. Also, we have contributed to air environment protection by successfully applying the first domestic technology, semi-dryer reactor to medium-size incinerators that is high-tech even in advanced countries as it allowed for provision of incinerators in urban areas and expansions to such as hospital areas with high efficiency in pollution removal and waste water control.
